On route to Farafra Oasis, probably the smallest oasis we visit the Black Desert. After that we climb a 500 m., high sand dune and see the "Desert Roses" at Crystal Mountain. In the famous White Desert, we explore the bizarre limestone sculptures. This wonderful nature would make us think that we are exploring another planet. Here is where we can enjoy an unforgettable scene: the sunset and a natural picture which only could be enjoyed in this wild life. At night we will camp under the stars to spend one of the most romantic nights we have ever had.

Day 04   After sunrise, we`ll take a short tour to explore Farafra Oasis, probably the smallest and the most isolated oasis on the entire tour. Proceed to Dakhla Oasis after crossing the Wadi Gaded (New Valley), the most beautiful of all Egyptian desert oases. Then we have a tour where we can get a glimpse of the narrow and winding streets of the village Al Qasr (the Palace). Overnight in a simple hotel where we will enjoy our dinner.

Day 05   After early breakfast we will start our adventure to Gilf El Kebir, first we will drive to the Southwest of Dakhla, to the Sugar Loaf, which is a spectacular rock-formation. Proceed to Abu Ballas, which is the first Station of the 400 km long pharaonic road through the Western Desert of Egypt, and which starts in Balat, in Dakhla Oasis (the former Old Kingdom town of Ain Aseel) and extended into the Gilf Kebir Plateau. And this area “Abu Ballas” is named after the pottery hill of Abu Ballas which had already been discovered in 1918 by John Ball.  This Station used as Control posts and navigation’s mark for the caravans. It was also a reliable source to provide the ancient caravans with water and Basic Supplies. After that we resume our trip towards the "Mud Pan”, which is a dry, prehistoric lake, where we set up our tents to have an overnight in camp.

Day 06   Continue to the desert through rough road towards el Gilf El Kebir, we will visit the most amazing valleys located there: Wadi Wassa (The Wide Valley). It was created by water erosion. It starts in the eastern side of the Gilf Kebir and makes its way through the plateau in the southwesterly direction, emerging on its western side. Then Proceed to Shaw's cave, where an amazing number of well-preserved rock paintings and engravings can be found. Also it’s known as Magharet El Kantara (the bridge’s cave) because It is located below the top of the plateau and separating the two valleys Wadi Wassa and Wadi Firaq. This cave was rediscovered by Kennedy Shaw in 1935, but It is worth mentioning that Rupert Harding discovered the paintings in the cave.
Then we drive to the Clayton-craters. It is the plain between Uweinat Mountain and the Gilf Kebir plateau, which was first sighted from the air in 1932 during Almasy-Clayton’s expedition, led by Sir Robert Clayton. The area is dotted with groups of low hills that from a high distance resemble the other flat-topped mesas of the region. They are composed of a sandstone rim or dyke, which forms the visible outer wall and some of the dykes that are visible in the base of the depressions. Not all of the craters contain dykes that cross their rims and their bases. In the evening, we have our overnight in camp.

Day 07- 08   Today's destination is the Jebel Uweinat, a mysterious mountain (resembles a mountain island) which lies in the three-border region among Egypt, Libya and Sudan and which is around 1934 m high above sea level. The Mountain is composed of three types of rock, granite on its western side, sandstone to the south and Nubian sandstone in the north.  Here is where there is a spectacular gallery of ancient drawings and carvings in the rocks which is known as the so-called Wadi Karkur Talh (Valley of Acacia) where we can see lions, giraffes, ostriches, gazelles, cattle, various hunting scenes, people and caravans from the ancient days when the desert was a fertile piece of land. Then we have Overnight in camp.

Day 09   Proceed to Wadi Soura, the so-called "Valley of the Images". Here we see floating people images, which were rediscovered by Almásy in October 1933 and regarded as an evident that there was certainly plenty of water once there. But later researchers have proved that these images have some religious indication which represents the Afterlife. The second cave is the Archers Cave which comprise a single scene depicting cattle, female figures and a group of archers and which is considered to be a more recent addition. Then we continue into the region of the western valleys of the Gilf El Kebir. The route takes us up to el Aqaba pass, to have overnight in camp.

Day 10   In the morning, we look around to admire the endless wild nature of the Desert and go down to Wadi Abd El Malik Located close to the Libiyan border. This valley is named after the last human who lived there with his family. It was known that the legendary oasis Zerzura was supposed to be there. You can see here various other rock carvings of giraffes. This Wadi has a length of almost 100 km. overnight in camp.

Day 11-13   The next 3 days Expedition may represent the climax of our tour. And into the Great sand sea, we explore the amazing, endless sand dunes. We will enjoy the spectacular colors of the sunset and sunrise and the light/shadow contrast trapped within the dunes, in the so-called streets, sand-free corridors, you see the upper part of the primordial ocean and sea floor discovered here numerous fossil remains. Overnight in camp

Day 14   We travel deep through the desert until we reach the last important point of the Sahara trip, Siwa Oasis which sits between the Qattara Depression and the Great Sand Sea, and was until recently one of the most difficult locations of all the Egyptian oases to visit. Then we have overnight in the hotel.

Day 15   Today, we take plenty of time to visit the oasis Siwa. We visit the Cleopatra Spring which is also well-known as (Sun pring), and the Amun Temple which was built by Amasis and dating to the 26 dynasty. Then we visit the Oracle of Alexander the Great whom was declared there as a Pharaoh of Egypt by Amun according to the Egyptian myth. Proceed to the ruins of the Um Ubieda Temple.  After that we will Visit the graves of Gebel El – Mota (the Mountain of Dead). By a donkey cart, we explore the main town of Siwa, with the ruins of the ancient fortress city of Shali. In the afternoon, we drive back to Cairo.
